Offerings reach new levels in efficiency with high-volume monthly duty cycles, automated real-time image density and front-to-back registration correction.

Konica Minolta South Africa has introduced three new monochrome production print engines to its product line: The AccurioPress 6136, and the AccurioPress 6120. These new products, available immediately, will meet the continual and growing needs for high-quality black & white printing in all industries.

The AccurioPress 6136 series sets a new standard in monochrome printing with print speeds of 136 pages per minute and 120 pages per minute, respectively. For the first time in a monochrome digital press, the AccurioPress 6136 series utilises the IQ-501 Intelligent Quality Optimiser. Its fully automated, closed-loop quality management system provides consistency with automated density control and accurate front-to-back registration adjustments.

Professional print providers and central reprographic departments, including the specialised needs of law firms, financial institutions and non-profit oranisations, will appreciate Konica Minolta’s state-of-the art monochrome production presses. Each delivers ultimate productivity and high versatility for media handling as well as entry-level and professional finishing. Smooth integration into industry-standard workflows ensures the AccurioPress 6136 series will meet the needs of clients.

“Monochrome printing is still a very essential part of our  overall business ─ despite recent shifts towards colour, the demand for black & white printing continues,” said Leon Minnie, Manager, Production Print at Konica Minolta South Africa. “I believe that our new AccurioPress offerings will help to continue driving monochrome printing demands, thanks to their print quality, high-volume capabilities and innovative new technologies that they bring to the market including the award winning IQ-501 Intelligent Quality Optimiser”.
