JOHANNESBURG – October 2016 – Buyers Laboratory LLC (BLI), the world’s leading independent evaluator of document imaging products and solutions, recently awarded two Konica Minolta multifunction printers (MFPs), namely the bizhub 227 and C308, with ‘Pick Awards’ for the Northern Hemisphere Summer (June–August) 2016 season.

BLI is an independent company that evaluates document imaging software and solution products. The awards are presented twice a year to acknowledge industry offerings that measure up as the best in BLI’s rigorous and comprehensive lab testing, which assesses a wide range of factors that are most important to buyers.

After its intensive evaluation, BLI analysts selected the Konica Minolta bizhub 227 – a 21 to 30 ppm A3 monochrome MFP - for its excellent reliability, robust feature set, high quality print output and outstanding value proposition.

The Konica Minolta bizhub C308, a 21 to 30 ppm A3 colour MFP, was honoured for its flawless reliability, comprehensive security measures, fast print speeds in multi-user environment, accurate and productive scanning, as well as many other strengths.

“This accolade reflects Konica Minolta’s unwavering focus on client requirements, as we aim to provide solutions that assist in creating a seamless and efficient workflow, while also improving productivity and ensuring quality,” says Greg Griffith, product manager: business solutions at Konica Minolta South Africa. “As client demands evolve, we are committed to delivering the technology and services to meet their changing needs.”

Says BLI senior editor, George Mikolay: “The Konica Minolta bizhub 227 impressively bridges the gap between compact A4 MFPs and traditional mid-volume A3 office MFPs. With a low price and outstanding overall performance, the device is a high value-add for small to mid-size workgroups. And the bizhub C308 will reduce costs and streamline workflows in a number of ways.”
