Konica Minolta South Africa introduces new asset360 platform to manage both financial costs and asset efficiencies

JOHANNESBURG- April 15, 2016 - Konica Minolta South Africa, a division of Bidvest Office (Pty) Ltd, has introduced the asset360 management platform, providing its clients with both the visibility and management control of all their enterprise printing assets, associated expenses and obligations. The new application will be delivered through Bidvest Business Technologies, the company’s recently established managed print services (MPS), managed content services (MCS) and rental asset management focused arm.

According to Andrew Griffith, general manager of Bidvest Business Technologies, asset360 is an enterprise asset management application that enables a financial-, facilities- and cost accounting view on enterprise assets.

“What this means is that from a financial perspective, asset360 offers a fixed, rental and loan asset registry,” he explains.

The fixed asset registry is a standard tool used by most corporations. The rental and loan registries, however, are new applications that offer similar controls and governance to non-capital assets.

asset360 also manages variable asset expenses such as consumables, maintenance, warranties, and more.

“The solution further offers a facilities focus on assets. Assets are controlled financially through cost centres and operationally within its physical or network structures. Plus, asset360 offers a powerful geographic and industrial view on assets to assist with applying them optimally throughout the business,” adds Griffith.

asset360 is available immediately nationwide from Konica Minolta South Africa.
