| 20 November 2018

Konica Minolta Business Solutions has been named “2018 Document Imaging Software Line of the Year” by Keypoint Intelligence – the world’s foremost authority on imaging software, hardware and services. This prestigious accolade was awarded following an in-depth study of the portfolios of the leading document imaging OEMs by analysts at Keypoint Intelligence’s Buyers Lab. The award recognises Konica Minolta’s exceptional portfolio of in-house software solutions and its highly successful eco-system of third-party offerings. In the Buyers Lab evaluation, Konica Minolta scored ‘best’ amongst leading OEMs in the key categories of Capture and Workflow, Document Management and Device Management, with a range of solutions that was described as ‘unmatched’.

Jamie Bsales, Director of Software Analysis, Keypoint Intelligence said,

“In our research, Konica Minolta Business Solutions demonstrated that it offers an outstandingly rich portfolio of software solutions developed by their own team and third party ISVs. When combined with their well-designed and easy-to-use bizhub MarketPlace, we believe that Konica Minolta is well positioned to meet the document-centric needs of both general business customers and key vertical industries such as healthcare, education and financial services. More importantly, the company has the expertise to deploy those solutions and support them on an ongoing basis so customers are never left without capable assistance – should an issue arise.’’

Given once a year, the Buyers Lab Line of the Year award recognises the document imaging OEM that offers the strongest solutions portfolio across a range of software categories that includes Capture and Workflow, Document Management, Output Management and Device Management. In the award citation, Buyers Lab analysts highlighted several of Konica Minolta’s class-leading software offerings including the Dispatcher Phoenix capture/workflow platform, an advanced document capture/processing/routing solution that enables the creation of timesaving workflows which can be tailored to customer’s needs.

Analysts also noted the ‘strong selection of output management solutions from class-leading ISV partners’, the ‘wide assortment of apps and customisable MFP user interfaces available via the bizhub MarketPlace online portal’ and ‘vertical market expertise and solutions tailored to key industries’.

Said Olaf Lorenz, General Manager International Marketing Division, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH,  ‘‘We are very honoured by this award.
