Konica Minolta has won a prestigious Buyers Lab (BLI) PaceSetter 2020–2021 award in the Ease of Use: Enterprise Devices category. The Buyers Lab PaceSetter awards recognise those document imaging OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) that have shown market leadership in a variety of categories including new technologies, services, and key vertical markets.

“Our bizhub i-Series multifunctional devices are intelligent and are IoT-enabled. They not only provide traditional services such as printing, copying and scanning, but also address other modern market needs as businesses evolve within the Intelligent Connected Workplace. Even with these advanced functionalities our devices remain easy to use,” explains Mohammed Vachiat, General Manager Sales, at Konica Minolta South Africa.

Amongst other reasons for first place, the judges awarded Konica Minolta this award as the new bizhub series of MFPs boasts large, fully tiltable control panels with slide-and-swipe navigation and a Card-style user interface, which allows for quick access to desired settings and makes the user experience intuitive, easy, and efficient.

The devices are also highly customisable through features such as marketplace, which allows high-usage apps to be easily downloaded at the control panel and the Personal Cloud Service to accelerate workflow and enhance the user experience.

“We are extremely proud to have won this award, which serves as acknowledgement from within our industry to the role we play as the technology-driven, customer-focused leaders in the business,” concluded Vachiat.
